Long after I am gone....

My silent screams
And the tortured wails
Will be heard through the walls
Of this dark, draconian house
Long after I am gone.

The gasps and sobs
And whimpers and shivers
Will remain buried
In each molecule of wood
Long after I am gone.

My tears have not evaporated
They remain absorbed and alive
In all the inanimate that exists
It will breathe my pain
Long after I am gone.
